Church attendance is declining. I think at least part of it is about how the church has so aligned with political parties, that’s turned a lot of people off… I’m a bit skeptical of church which is weird for a pastor to say

Politicians will tell people whatever they need to tell them to get their vote, to get elected… how they are going to restore the authority of the Church in the culture or (how) they are going to make so that everybody says “Merry Christmas” instead of happy holidays… and Christians buy it
Why is it that we live in the land of abundance and yet we feel so empty inside? Maybe it’s time to go back to Jesus and evaluate his claims

Sometimes is when Christians are persecuted… killed that they find that faith grows the most… I’m more interested in the health of the church than I am on the health of our country
