Faith and doubt are not opposites, any person of faith that says they don’t have doubt is lying to you
True understanding, true wisdom for life comes from actually testing and experimenting and practicing your way into either believing God or not believing him

A lot of us shy away from God because we have crap in our past and that’s an okay place to start. I don’t care if you buried it and you thought it was dead and gone 25 years ago. It has turned into a wall between you and God. So I would say if you can go to God in honest confession that’s a great place to start
