Even as I started to grow scientifically, I was having successes that I would’ve dreamed about as a young person… none of those filled something in my heart and it was this desire to really truly be loved

I would say the world was against me having faith, my own father was against me having faith, I didn’t know what was right or true, and I got tired of that

As a scientist I don’t want to only try and discover things that I know are gonna feed people’s fears and follow certain political agenda, I want to understand really how the whole system works; I think we owe that to people in the world if we are gonna do science, it’s to pursue the truth

What would you say is the most imminent threat to methane gases bursting out in lakes in the arctic in our planet?

I think slowing down, simplifying and using less resources and taking time to care for people and any of the resources that you have (to make) decisions about could go a long way
We can stop thinking about ourselves and instead give and enable the things around us to grow and be beautiful
