The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis Onstage. With over 15 years of experience in acting & directing concerts and plays for the Academy of Arts. Nicole Stratton is the stage director of ‘The Horse and His Boy’ brought to the Museum of the Bible‘s world stage in Washington DC.
Is not necessarily the Bible but there’s biblical truths throughout it as far as hope and redemption and all the things that are in Narnia

In the entertainment world we can get so saturated with all of the grandeur of CGI but we’re really missing the core element of what speaks to a human souls and that is the story and Lewis was a master at that

We’ve got to produce things that are so excellent they can’t be ignored and so when I was in that mission of writing it God was telling me don’t give up it’s going to be worth it even if I don’t fully see the Arts reclaimed for Christ in my lifetime I’ve got to keep running and keep showing young people that it’s worth it to give their talents back to God

I went on the road to help my dad. He started the Academy of Arts Ministry which is what my husband and I now run. He started that in 1971 before I was born and we grew up helping him. We go into Christian Schools and we produce full-scale production in a week.
My husband said give him the lead role and I was like I can’t give him a lead role he won’t even show up for rehearsals and my husband said no that lead role actually goes through the journey of believing in Christ in the play. Sam needs to go through that and I gave it to him, he went through that whole production. Next year he got saved and now he’s on staff with us.
Our ministries motto is ‘making the Bible come alive’ and we actually act out the Bible for people
