What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, what have you witnessed in terms of sin?

People are people… the same tensions that people carry here in Las Vegas.. are the same tensions they are carrying in Orange County
It’s been many years since that mass shooting (Las Vegas)… the law enforcement community, there is a loose-loose, they are stepping in, they are serving and yet there’s such a fear… the level of respect, the level of admiration is minimal if not gone

Within this culture everything is accessible, everything is permissible

People are looking to belong, they wanna be a part of something, they wanna sense that they are needed, that they are wanted, that they are seen. So much of what Vegas is catering to is this longing of significance.

This is where the shooting was taking place… our cops are taking a beating… how has your role as chaplain and the tragedy on the strip… have you seen a ripple effect at the (police) department?
Where do yo see hope for the future of policing?
This environment (Las Vegas) has actually drawn us closer into a dependence on God because is so pervasive, we have to be clear on who we are and who our God is
