A Message of Hope and Resurrection

Erika Kirk, who recently stepped into leadership at Turning Point USA following the tragic loss of her husband, Charlie Kirk, brings a profound layer of personal faith and resilience to the event. In a pre-recorded segment, Kirk—donning a white blazer and her signature green "Freedom" cap—delivers the ultimate message of the Christian faith: the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Her reading covers the discovery of the empty tomb and Christ’s post-resurrection appearances, a fitting narrative for a leader who has navigated immense personal trial through the strength of the Gospel.


A Week of National Discipleship

Launched on April 19 and inspired by Bunni Pounds (founder of Christians Engaged), this event has drawn millions of viewers online. The vision was simple yet radical: a national call to Scripture and discipleship.

“Our vision to see leaders across the country express their dependence on God through Scripture has become a reality,” says Pounds.

The week has already seen historic contributions, including a recorded reading by President Donald J. Trump from 2 Chronicles 7:11–22. This marked the first time since Ronald Reagan that a sitting president has publicly read this specific call to national repentance and healing.
