From a Satanist’s House to Casting Out Eight Demons in His Own Bedroom

Imagine being a little kid waking up to dark shadows, oppressive fear, and things moving in your room. Years later Joshua finds out the previous owner’s son was deep into satanism—that house was literally marked.

Fast-forward to marriage. Joshua and his Guatemalan wife had been battling depression, rage, and spiritual oppression for the first six years. On their sixth wedding anniversary, his spiritual father is on FaceTime guiding him, and suddenly his wife starts shaking uncontrollably. Eight demons—one after another—manifest and are cast out right there on the couch. The ninth one (a higher-ranking spirit) had to wait because Joshua didn’t have the revelation yet.

That night changed everything. He went to bed with one eye open, but he also woke up knowing: “God just enrolled me in Deliverance 101… and my wife was the final exam.” Ministry always starts at home, fam.Key Scripture: James 1:17 – “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”

The Parable of the Ten Virgins: The Message Your Pastor Skips

Joshua went straight for the jugular on Matthew 25:1-13.

Ten virgins = ten believers. All saved. All had lamps.

Only five had oil.

When the Bridegroom came, the ones without oil were locked out forever, and Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, I do not know you.”

Joshua’s point: Salvation is free, but oil (intimacy, obedience, sacrifice, the fire-refined version of you) is not free. Then he tied it to Revelation 3:17-18 where Jesus tells the Laodicean church, “You say, ‘I am rich… and need nothing,’ not realizing that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire…”

In other words, the marketplace exists so the foolish can come buy oil from the wise who paid the price. If you’re still living a lukewarm, talent-burying life (Matthew 25:14-30), Scripture actually calls that evil. Straight up. God wants a return on His investment—your purpose.

How to Step Into a Prophetic Calling When You Keep Rejecting It

Joshua felt the prophetic nudge years ago, prayed, heard nothing, so he shelved it. Later a prophet in a prayer room spoke, “You are a prophet.” Joshua’s flesh immediately said, “Nah, that guy missed it.”

One night in prayer, Holy Spirit gently corrected him: “You will never walk in this until you receive the word.” Joshua repented on the spot and said, “Okay Lord, I receive it.”

Less than 24 hours later he’s on Zoom with a woman in Dubai. Out of nowhere she switches from “Brother Joshua” to “Prophet Joshua.” Why? The word he gave her was so precise that the Holy Spirit told her, “Only My prophets carry words like that.”

Lesson: Receiving what God says about you is the doorway to walking in it.Key Scripture: Ephesians 4:11-13 – “He gave some as apostles, some as prophets… for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ.”

Mili’s Healing Hands: The Moment Joshua Named the Gift Live on Air

Okay, this part wrecked us.

For 17 years Mili has felt physical sensations when she prays for certain people—electricity running through her hands, sometimes the actual heartbeat of the person pulsing in her palm (even when she’s holding their hand, not their wrist), and an instant knowing of deep trauma or oppression.

Beto decided to throw her under the bus (lovingly) and asked Joshua point-blank what it meant.

Joshua looked Mili in the eyes and said:

“One word: HEALING. God has called you to be a healer. There’s healing in your hands and a heightened discernment because God is showing you exactly where the root wound or trauma is. What therapists try to uncover in years of talking, Jesus is going to heal in moments when you lay those hands on people.”

He said the electricity and heartbeat are the Spirit highlighting the exact spot that needs the power of Jesus. Mili almost fell out of her chair. We’ve seen this gift work—people leave completely different after she prays—but hearing it named and confirmed like that? Game changer.

The Marketplace Revival: Prophets in Hollywood, Publicists, and Boardrooms

Joshua only coaches people God explicitly sends him (he literally told us, “Just watch my page—everyone I work with, God sends”). Right now God is raising up prophets and healers inside the entertainment mountain, the business mountain, the creative mountain. The “foolish virgins” with salvation but no oil are being sent to the marketplace to buy refined gold from the wise.

That’s why the moment Natalie (the Hollywood publicist who rented our studio) sat down with Joshua, the Holy Spirit lit the room on fire—she’s a prophet to celebrities and influencers. God is infiltrating the gates!
